Monique Nobrega-Mokogwu
Physiotherapist & Pilates
As a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist, I focus on optimizing physical well-being through a holistic approach to injury management, prevention, and rehabilitation. My background in sports therapy inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Physiotherapy at St George’s University, where I graduated with Merit, enriching my clinical skills and expertise.
I have extensive experience in clinical and athletic environments, working with diverse patient populations, including post-operative patients and those recovering from complex injuries. I am particularly interested in performing arts physiotherapy, where I support dancers and performers in managing injuries, improving movement patterns, and maintaining peak performance.
My treatment and rehabilitation plans are tailored to each patient’s unique needs, placing them at the center of their care. I use evidence-based techniques such as joint and soft tissue manual therapy, manipulative therapy, dry needling, acupuncture, and neural mobilisation. These are complemented by movement-focused approaches, including Pilates, core rehabilitation, neuromuscular re-education, and strength and conditioning training.
I am passionate about injury prevention and functional rehabilitation, blending innovative techniques to help patients achieve their health and performance goals. My previous leadership role in a Pilates department allowed me to develop progressive programs that enhance movement, stability, and overall well-being.
When I am not at Fix, I am likely in the dance studio 🙂 I am committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that fosters motivation and empowers individuals to reach their optimal health and well-being.
