Suryian Naik

Acupuncturist

Suryian’s earliest endeavours were mostly creative. He spent a lot of time as a session musician but was always curious about Chinese medicine and the philosophies that are weaved into it.

His studies of Chinese martial arts also fed this curiosity further. Suryian’s intro into Chinese medicine was through the study of Acupuncture and recently Chinese herbal medicine. His first few years of practice were spent working in different environments, from home visits to fast paced community based practices.

Suryian has been spending some time working in herbal health food shops, where he’s had the pleasure of listening to many concerns and issues. That environment has given him a keen curiosity to help people and find ways of understanding what might be going on through the lens of Traditional Chinese medicine.

Suryian believes that the use of both acupuncture and herbal medicine are like two sides of a coin. Where one may not be able to help, the other may offer something more useful.

His spare time Is usually split between practising martial arts or callisthenics training.
