Juncal graduated as a physiotherapist in Amsterdam in 2007 and moved to London in 2011 to complete her MSc degree in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy at King’s College London.

During her early career in Amsterdam, Juncal specialised in musculoskeletal injuries including pre- and post-natal complaints. During her time in Amsterdam, she obtained a degree in acupuncture and a postgraduate in pregnancy-related complaints.

She is focussed on providing individualised treatment and rehabilitation to help patients achieve their goals; from walking upstairs without pain, to running the London Marathon.

Juncal also has extensive experience in Performing Arts, and is currently working as the Healthcare Manager and Lead physiotherapist at the English National Ballet School, where, in addition to her clinical work, she leads the multidisciplinary team. She was the Head Physiotherapist of the National Centre for Circus Arts and has worked with circus artists from touring companies, and for the “Tumble” BBC show.

Furthermore, Juncal was Module Lead in Rehabilitation in the MSc in Performing Arts Medicine from UCL as well as guest lecturer in other universities. She has also completed her MSc in Exercise and Sport Science, where she had the opportunity to travel to the United States to assist NBA and NFL players pre-season strength and conditioning.

When not at Fix, Juncal likes to spend time with her family and take them to art exhibitions. She also enjoys going to the theatre, cinema and travelling.
