Lee Wilkinson

Run Coach

Lee was exercising with his dad, and started running, from a young age. He was motivated by setting goals and then being able to reach them. Until it came to it, he set himself a sub 80 minute goal for a half marathon, and unfortunately didn’t reach it.

After two years running (pun intended), he missed out by 22 seconds – both times!

He decided to get a running coach to educate and inform himself of the corrections needed, and to better his chances of hitting his goal.

Having a run coach changed everything for Lee, including the how, why and when to train. It helped him get to that sub 80 minute half – he achieved it in 77 minutes. The excitement and reward of doing this, inspired him to become a coach and help others this way.

Lee uses his coaching qualifications alongside his experience in running races all over the world. He likes to pass on this knowledge to help his clients and watch them breakthrough their barriers too.

Sessions with Lee, will involve technique assessment, identifying weakness or changes that need to be made. Every runner is different, so he works together with you to become the most efficient runner you can be, injury free. Just a small change can make a big difference.

When Lee is not at Fix you’ll find him either out running, on the bike or cooking/refuelling.
