Nick Naylor is a highly experienced sports physiotherapist with an extensive background across elite sport, private practice and multidisciplinary performance environments in both the UK and New Zealand. He has worked across cricket, rugby, rowing, ballet, athletics and international touring environments, with recent roles with Essex Cricket, Middlesex Cricket, London Spirit, England Women’s Cricket, British Rowing and the Royal Ballet.
Alongside his work in elite sport, Nick has maintained strong roots in musculoskeletal and private practice physiotherapy, previously operating his own clinic in New Zealand and working across NHS and private healthcare settings in London. His clinical approach combines evidence-based rehabilitation, performance optimisation and collaborative athlete-centred care, with a particular interest in injury prevention, return to play processes and creating high-performance environments.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago and an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Bath. He has continued to expand his clinical skillset through further training in leadership, sports trauma management and dry needling. Across his career, Nick has developed a reputation for clear communication, practical problem solving and building strong relationships with athletes, coaches and multidisciplinary teams. His experience spans both team and individual sports, from grassroots and academy pathways through to professional and international competition.
When he is not at Fix he enjoys running, CrossFit and plays the Piano and Guitar.
