Client of the Month – Chris Levy

Client of the Month – Chris Levy. “I take part in a slightly unusual hybrid sport…Chess-boxing: essentially alternating rounds of boxing and chess, until someone wins by either method. Having discovered this in my late 20s, It became my main activity for 3 or 4 years – not only learning how to box (and loving it), but having the chance to fight in front of decent sized crowds.”

Osteopathy – Beneficial to All the Living

Osteopathy – Beneficial to all the living. Osteopathy is suitable for almost everyone from the young to the very old and is used to treat and help prevent a wide range of different symptoms, and both chronic and acute pain. At its core, osteopathy understands that your body is an integrated and indivisible whole, and constantly works hard to heal and regulate itself. An Osteopath will work with you to help create the best conditions for your self-healing mechanisms to flourish so that you can recover from injury, or improve your function. No single part of the body works in isolation and therefore no part can be considered on its own -a weakness or restriction in one area of the body will affect things elsewhere.

After I’d run a training marathon 8 weeks out, got knocked down by a car on a training run 3 weeks out, and struggled through the main event, it’s fair to say my body, and my hips particularly were not happy with me.
